Group Stories
We are particularly keen to receive stories developed in a group context. So if you are involved in a community group, local history group, a reminiscence group, an after-school club or a museum outreach group and would like to contribute a story or online exhibition - please get in touch.
Storymaker offers a group edit facility specifically designed for use in a group context. By applying for this facility you will have access to our read, write and edit facilities. You will also able to build up a bank of stories to be worked on over time.
You will be given three levels of access to these stories - protected by passwords. This may be especially useful for teachers and after-school club leaders who may need to have a degree of control over the stories and when they are submitted.
To apply for this level of access just click on the 'How do I register?' button on the Storymaker homepage. (The Storymaker homepage is accessible from the 'Get Involved' graphic on the main site).
When you have applied for group access to Storymaker we will issue you with passwords and send you further information about how you may use it.
If you are involved in a group project that you would like to digitise and publish on the web and would like to discuss it first, get in touch - we may be able to help.
We also have workshop plans that may help you develop school and after school club based projects that engage with your local heritage. Please contact us for more information: cityheritage@24hourmuseum.org.uk
