Sending Us Your Press Releases

Send us your press releases! We really do read them all, but we can't put up every story we get sent. However, our editorial team try to cover a wide range of venues, large small and in-between, so we will get to you eventually!

We also try very hard to cover the whole of Britain, and our volunteer and staff writing team make a big effort to visit your galleries and see things for themselves.

One or two things would make life easier in our office when you send in your releases.

  • Please email us releases in preference to posting them.

  • In the 'subject' line of your email press release, give a clue to the subject of the release. (see picture above)

  • Send the press release as a virus-checked Word file. Send the images as attachments to the same email as the Word file, as jpegs.

    Try not to crop the pics too much, or make them too small. Around 100 to 500 kb in filesize is best, though we can handle bigger at a pinch.

  • Don't add the images into the Word press release file. This makes it into a really big, unmanageable file.
