BETT 2006 – 24 Hour Museum Partners With Their Past Your Future Museums

24 Hour Museum is partnering the Imperial War Museum and funders, MLA and the Big Lottery, on an exhibition stand at the 2006 BETT show at Olympia in London. Also present on the stand will be staff from other web sites and museums involved in Their Past Your Future in 2005.
To complement the exhibition, we're pleased to showcase, below, some of the other teaching and learning resources from museums, libraries and archives across the country. These projects were nominated by Regional Agencies and Renaissance Hubs, and a final selection made by MLA.
www.show.me.uk is the 24 Hour Museum’s zone for kids. Designed for children aged 4 to 11, or KS1 and 2 in the English National Curriculum, the site is packed with online interactive resources produced by museums and galleries.
There are sections for teachers and parents, weekly news stories, ideas and tips on extending children’s interest in their heritage, and an interactive UK museums map.
