Harewood 1807


 

Description
A commemoration and celebration of the abolition of the slave trade. A Harewood 1807 leaflet outlining the Lascelles involvement in the West Indies trade and the 1807 election is available to visitors and also available to download from our website. Later this year the Harewood West Indies archive will be online via the Borthwick Institute website and our Harewood main webpages. In the House there is a small exhibit, an introductory panel and display case including books with relevant botanical illustrations.
