Description
Remains of 13th Century stone castle and the fine motte and bailey. New interpretation centre opened in 2002 with displays on the castle, education room, shop and refreshments. New access bridge and steps enable visitors to reach the top of the motte and take in the wonderful views of the lower Calder Valley.
