Liverpool's centre for contemporary arts. Located in a Grade 1 Listed Building in the centre of Liverpool City Centre, the gallery re-opened in March 2008 after a multi million development. The Bluecoat will engage, inspire and stimulate visitors, whether they come to create, view, listen, eat, shop, talk - or simply be, and will house a vibrant community of creative people - artists, performers, writers, crafts people, creative businesses and retailers - all committed to using their emerging talent to innovate and excel.
