The Centre is open Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.

If you are intending to visit between 9am and 3pm then please call in advance, Tel. – 01224 274545 School classes use our classroom during these times, which means the room may be unavailable for family visits.

Description
Using the university’s wonderful Cruickshank Botanic Garden and fantastic Zoology Museum the centre aims to inspire everyone in the living environment.

Our hands-on education room also lets visitors see nature in close-up! Come and meet Erica the tarantula, the gorgeous fire salamanders and handle anything from spiky monkey puzzle leaves to huge skulls, snake skins and whale bones!
