Description
The Carnegie Library first opened in 1906, as a free public library owned by and for the local community. The development of the building as a new museum and arts centre continues this community-focused legacy. Funded by Larne Borough Council and the Heritage and Arts Lottery Funds, the development will provide an enhanced museum service, an exhibition gallery, an education/community room and a new auditorium for Larne Drama Circle.
