Description
The mythological sea god, Manannan, guides you through the Island's rich Celtic, Viking and Maritime past, over 2000 years of unique Manx heritage. Step inside splendid reconstructions of a Manx Celtic roundhouse and a Viking longhouse. Discover the stories of Celtic Christianity and Viking mythology which are carved into the maginifcent Manx stone crosses. Explore the specially built 'Odin's Raven' Viking longship which was actually sailed from Norway to the Isle of Man as part of our Millenium Tynwald celebrations and learn about the importance of seafarers and the sea in the Story of Mann.
