Description
mac is one of this country's leading and busiest arts centres, welcoming over half a million visitors each year.
Set in the magnificent Cannon Hill Park less than two miles from the city centre, mac plays a unique role in Birmingham's cultural development, covering all art forms and reflecting the diversity of cultures in the region.
With three performance spaces (including the unique outdoor arena), a cinema, six galleries and exhibition spaces and fourteen studios and workshops, mac offers an extensive programme encompassing drama, music, dance, film, comedy, visual and performance arts.
Events include internationally renowned festivals and exhibitions, world premieres of new works and visits from established national companies and there is also an opportunity to learn new skills or progress existing talents with over 5500 educational sessions and masterclasses to choose from each year.
