Description
The University Gallery may not be as large as other public galleries, but its strength lies in the calibre of its programme, its Permanent Collection and its long-standing commitment to the local community. Described as a ‘hidden treasure’ by out of town, first-time visitors, the Gallery’s exhibitions can attract over a thousand visitors a week and each year over 200 artists of amateur and professional status have their work represented through the exhibition programme.
