Description
On a site of breathtaking scale near Swindon we store the large and iconic objects from the National Collections of the Science Museum... and we’ve got 18,000 of them.

The collections span the whole spectrum of scientific and technological interest for all ages, ranging from the giant Lockheed Constellation airliner to early computers, from bicycles to the massive Wood printing press, and from MRI scanners to hovercraft.

We currently only open the site to the public for special events. However, we plan to build a new facility on the site which will make our spectacular objects available to the public on a more regular basis. To sign up to our mailing list and find out more please contact us at wroughton.enquiries@nmsi.ac.uk.

Key artists and exhibits
Although we are not currently open on a regular basis we plan to build a brand new museum facility on the Swindon site. This will allow us to provide public access to our spectacular objects on a regular basis.
