Bus exhibits are available for hire for film work, special events etc.(but not for public passenger carrying duties where a charge is made). Request for other appearances may be accepted without charge for certain causes and bodies.

Employees of GMPTE, Metrolink and Greater Manchester bus operators are admitted to the Museum free of charge.

Description
Find out about Greater Manchester's transport history with the Museum of Transport in Manchester. Opened in 1979, the Museum has a large and varied collection of exhibits, charting the development of public transport in the county, ranging from a Victorian horse-drawn bus to a full size prototype for Greater Manchester's Metrolink.
