Description
A museum (reg.charity No.290431), run entirely by un-paid volunteers, depicting village life on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens from the Saxons to the 60's. The displays are housed in various attractive buildings including an 18th Century timber framed barn.
Stevens' Mill, a restored windmill next to the museum site, is open to museum visitors for no extra charge.
The museum has a Friends group who amongst other things help to staff the museum on open days and organise fund-raising events.
Further details about the museum can be found on our website www.burwellmuseum.org.uk .
