Description
Verulamium is the award winning museum of everyday life in Roman Britain. It is on the site of one of the major cities in Roman Britain set in attractive parkland and near Roman theatre, walls and hypocaust.
There is a new Iron Age gallery, recreated Roman rooms, discovery areas and some of the best mosaics outside the Mediterranean.
Every 2nd weekend of the month the gallery is invaded by Roman legionnaries who recreate life as a foot soldier in the Roman Imperial Army.
