Description
Redbridge Museum was opened in 2000. It is the community museum for the London Borough of Redbridge and explores the many different places, people and events in over 150,000 years of Redbridge history. The Museum also runs popular temporary exhibitions, events, and an education service.
Collections description
The collections cover over 150,000 years of local history from prehistoric animals to recent developments. It is particularly evocative of the development of Ilford, Wanstead and Woodford from 1850s - 1950s.
