Description
We guarantee that you've never seen anything like it! Why? Because the Colour Museum is unique. Dedicated to the history, development and technology of colour, it's the only museum of its kind in Europe. A truly colourful experience for both kids and adults, it's fun, it's informative and it's well worth a visit.
Collections description
Textbooks, journals,notebooks, shade cards and ephemera relating principally to the textile colouration industry and the history of the Society of Dyers and Colourists.

Also a small collection of 3-D objects.

Key artists and exhibits
The World of Gallery is mainly interactive and explores perception, colour theory and optical illusions. Also houses the temporary exhibition space. ; The Colour and Textiles Gallery charts the history of the dyeing and printing of textiles and explores colour matching and measuring. Also a display on Turkey Red Dyeing and Printing.
