The Flying Scotsman Story
;
When the Great Northern Railway launched its Flying Scotsman service in 1862 it would have had little idea that it was launching a legend. Over 140 years later Flying Scotsman is still racing between London and Edinburgh, whilst the locomotive named after this famous train has won the hearts fot he nation. Savour the atmosphere, meet the people and see the objects that make up the Flying Scotsman Story. Please note Flying Scotsman is currently undergoing a statutory overhaul in the Workshop.
