Open to casual visitors throughout the year on most Tuesday and Thursday evenings 1900-2200, and on most Saturdays and Sundays when our volunteers are working.
Description
The Trust's ultimate aim is to have a permanent home for the collection in or near the centre of Keighley. The collection is currently housed in central Keighley, unfortunately the building is not suitable to be opened as a real museum on a permanent basis.
Collections description
The Keighley Bus Museum Trust was founded in 1991 by a group of public transport enthusiasts and obtained charitable status in 1997.
Some of the collection is owned by the Trust, some vehicles are on loan and others privately owned. In all the collection comprises 25 vehicles in running order and 35 or more undergoing or awaiting restoration.
