Description
Built in 1699, Castle Howard is one of the country's finest stately homes and is still the private residence of the Howard family.

Collections description
Indoors, art treasures include paintings by Canaletto, Holbein, Gainsborough and Reynolds, a collection of antique sculpture, and the porcelain collections include a spectacular Crown Derby botanical dessert service. Outdoors there are temples, lead statues and an array of monuments.
