May, June, July and August: 11 am to 4 pm every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
September: 11 am to 4 pm every Saturday and Sunday
October: 11 am to 4 pm every Sunday

Battlefield walks will take place on the mornings of Saturday 8th, 9th and 22nd July. The walks will start from the car park on the south of the battlefield at 11 am and will cost £3.00. They will last for around 1 1/2 hours.

The annual service will be held at the church on 23rd July at 6.30pm.

Description
Battlefield church (St Mary Magdalene church) was built on the site of the Battle of Shrewsbury in 1406. Visitors to Battlefield church can see five newly installed panels describing the five main players in the Battle of Shrewsbury. The King (Henry IV) the King's son Prince Henry, Henry Percy (Harry Hotspur), the Knights & archers and foot soldiers. A newly commisioned display depicting the Battle of Shrewsbury is on display in the vestry. St Mary Magdalene church is one of 330 English churches of outstanding historic and architectural or archaeological importance cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust.
