The Centre is open to the public on Open Days or by appointment - please contact us for a booking. We welcome individual research requests or group bookings and can arrange to open in the evening or at weekends for booked parties.

Open Days 2008: Sunday 11th May and Sunday 14th September 10am - 4pm

Description
What's in store? The Centre houses the County's major collections of Archaeology, Social History and Natural History. It holds items from Bronze Age beakers to bonnets, boots, bills, billhooks and bullock carts.

It is a resource for new and changing exhibitions countywide, and for private and academic research.

It preserves Oxfordshire's past for Oxfordshire's future.
Collections description
The Museums Resource Centre is home to a large and diverse collection. Objects representing Oxfordshire's history, archaeology, agriculture, arts, crafts and natural sciences are all here. The collections are available by appointment for research and study.
