Open
Normally trains run daily May to September and weekends October to April. At other times Sheffield Park station is open for restaurant, souvenir shop, museum and locomotive viewing.

Admission charges
Sample Third Class Fares, from 10th Jan 2004:
Sheffield Park - Horsted Heynes - Kingscote and return.
Unlimited travel on the day of your visit:
Adult: £9.00, Child (3 and under 16): £4.50
Family (2 adults and up to 3 children): £25.00
Senior Citizen: £7.50
BRPS Members 3rd-class Privilege fares:
Adult: £3.50, Child (3 and under 16): £1.80
Family (2 adults and up to 3 children): £9.00
All line single tickets:
Adult: £5.00, Child (3 and under 16): £2.50
We have Joint ticket arrangement with the National Trust (Sheffield Park Garden).:
Adult: £12.20, Child (3 and under 16): £6.60
Family (2 adults and up to 3 children): £31.50
(The cost of combined tickets with Standen will be available later).
One stop (half line) return: Sheffield Park to Horsted Keynes, or Horsted
Keynes to Kingscote:

Description
Steam railway running for 9 miles From Sheffield Park to Kingscote in East and West Sussex. Over 30 steam locomotives with several in use each running day.
Pullman dining trains run Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime and is available for charter at other times.
Special arrangements for school parties and disabled passengers with prior notification.
Santa Special trains run in December.
Twinned with Stoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik in the Netherlands.

Collections description
35 steam locomotives in various stages of restoration or running condition with ages spanning 40 to 130 years with several in use on normal running days and up to 8 on gala days. A good collection of old carriages and goods wagons again with ages spanning 30 to 110 years.
