Description
The Occupation Tapestry tells the story of life in Jersey during the Second World War. This unique community work of art depicts Islanders’ personal memories of the War in twelve gloriously colourful panels. The tapestry was created to mark the 50th anniversary of Jersey’s Liberation and has become one of the island’s great treasures.
