Description
Belgrave Hall was built between 1709 and 1713 by Edmond Cradock. Between 1767 and 1844 the Hall was owned by the Vanns, who ran a hosiery business employing local framework knitters as outworkers. In 1845 John Ellis, industrialist and politician, purchased the Hall and lived there until 1923.

Today, Belgrave Hall is a thriving museum that contrasts the lifestyles of an upper middle class family and domestic servants.
