Description
The Bonington Gallery is one of the foremost spaces for contemporary art in the Midlands, located in the School of Art and Design at the Nottingham Trent University, in the heart of the city of Nottingham.

Funded by the University and Arts Council England (East Midlands), the gallery since 1989, has been the provider of a wide ranging programme of exhibitions and events, broadly encompassing both pure and applied contemporary creative practice; visual art, (all media), craft, design, performance and dance. Emphasis is placed on programming work which is challenging and innovative, with a committment to encouraging the work of new, emerging artists as well as established practitioners. The nature of the space itself makes it a particularly sympathetic venue for large-scale site-specific installation and multi-discipline events.
