Description
In a magnificent Grade II listed red brick building, in the heart of the East-End, this branch of the V&A is devoted to the theme of childhood, both past and present.
Recently reopened after a £4.7 million transformation by Architects Caruso St John. New features include a stunning front entrance with community gallery, Creativity and Moving Toys displays and hands-on activities.

Collections description
The Museum of Childhood houses the UK's largest collection of toys including dolls, dolls' houses, puppets, games, optical toys and automata.
It also has a significant children's costume and nursery equipment collection. Its collection dates from the 16th century to the present day.
