Description
The Royal Cambrian Academy of Art was established in 1882. It is one of only 5 British Academies and the only Welsh Academy, therefore of unique status. The Royal Cambrian Academy is devoted to the visual arts in Wales and the membership of over 115 Academicians includes many of Wales' most popular and highly respected artists.
The modern, well-lit gallery holds nine exciting exhibitions each year, as well as various lectures, talks, demonstrations and workshops. There is also a fantastic ART FESTIVAL during the August Bank Holiday each year where people of all ages and backgrounds can 'have-a-go' at trying out different art techniques, whilst being taught by some of Wales' most admired artists - and all for free! Dont miss it!
