Collections description
Me and My Body:
Meet Scoot the Robot in this gallery where giant models and fun activities help you find out all about your body, how it works, and how to look after it.
Living and Working Together:
Uncover the secrets of work and everyday life. Be a cashier in the shop, fill a car with petrol in the garage, work the machines in the factory, and who knows what you will find in the dig!
Our Global Garden:
Take a fascinating journey of discovery across the globe, to see the world you live in and how to look after it. Travel through seven interactive ´gardens´; from a town garden in England, across the desert, into the jungle, to Polar regions, the ocean and the countryside. Join Gordon the Gnome and make some wondrous discoveries.
Sound Space:
Explore sound, music and performance using state-of-the-art technology on an amazing interactive journey with Orby the Alien – will you be a musician, a sound engineer, a technician or DJ?
SoundGarden:
Discover the sights, sounds and smells of nature in this giant enchanted garden especially for children under 5. Little babies will love the padded, tranquil leaf cradle and older children can play amongst the larger-than-life ‘must-touch’ exhibits.
Desert Discovery:
Especially for children under five, this magical desert environment includes ‘Baby Oasis’, a secure, vibrant play area for babies not yet walking. Older children can lead pioneering adventures in the warm desert daytime, transporting boulders and building mini-desert dwellings; and then explore the calm desert in the dark – what creatures can you see that come out at night?
Eureka! also runs a special programme of arts and science-themed events for weekends and half-term - contact the museum for more information.
To discover more, come and see us soon!
