Description
The Black Watch Regimental Museum is housed in historic Balhousie Castle set in its own grounds beside the North Inch in Perth. Entry to the Museum is free. The Museum is well signed on all approach routes into the city and parking is available. It is within easy walking distance of the centre. The Museum is laid out chronologically in 7 rooms within the Castle. These display an amazing variety of artefacts illustrating the history of the Regiment as well as a fine collection of pictures. Because of the nature of the building disabled access is limited but in the process of being improved with the re-development of the Museum.
