Description
The British Dental Association (BDA) Museum has one of the largest collections of dental heritage in the U.K. telling the story of how dentistry has developed from a marketplace spectacle to the complex procedures and treatment of today. The Museum welcomes all visitors and has an education and outreach service for schools and adult groups. "Great fun and very informative." "Quite an eyeopener - thank you from a non-dentist."


Collections description
The collections of the BDA Dental Museum comprise over 30,000 objects, archives and images relating to the history of dentistry in the U.K, and is of international importance. The collections tell the story of the growth of the dental profession and industry and include items such as artificial teeth, instruments, machinery, furniture, archives, fine arts, photography and related dental ephemera.
