Description
An explorer’s dream castle. Built across two islets in the Bay of St Aubin, Elizabeth Castle defended Jersey for over 300 years. The Officer’s Quarters now hold an exhibition telling the long and fascinating story of this magnificent castle. Allow plenty of time to visit this site, which has so much to explore. Learn how to march with Gunner Graves and listen to one of his many stories about life as a 19th century solder. The climax of the show is the firing of the castle cannon. Gunner Gates and his wife reveal the secrets of a military family on Sundays between April and November.
