Description
The Museum was established on this site in 1985, to house a collection which was started in 1967. It tells the story of the development of the bus and bus services in Oxfordshire. Over 20 buses and coaches can be seen in store, on display or under restoration. There is a children's activity area. Free bus rides are provided on the first Sunday of the month during the summer (subject to availability and weather conditions).
To arrange school visits, telephone 01865 774 233
To arrange group or evening visits, telephone 01865 241 387
The Museum is also the home of the Morris Motors Museum, telling the story of car factory at Cowley, Oxford, established by William Morris, later Lord Nuffield. There is no additional charge: the one entrance fee includes both museums.
