Description
Explore the rural life of Cambridgeshire and discover the fascinating story of the Benedictine monks, Knights Templar and Franciscan nuns who lived in Denny Abbey. Find out about farming in the past by a visit to the craft workshops, which include a wheelwright and blacksmith.
Experience home life of the 1940's in our farmworker's cottage and visit the village shop. Peel away the layers of history in the abbey - from the Victorian farmhouse to the Norman interiors of the 12th century church and the 14th century Franciscan refectory.
With exciting displays and interactives for all the family, the Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey is a truly wonderful visit, in a beautiful rural setting.
