Description
A countryside collection displayed to honour the prophetic writings on nature conservation of the late John Moore, a local writer and naturalist. The museum is housed in an historic 15th century timber-framed building, part of a row of restored late medieval merchants' cottages.
Collections description
Natural history collection of preserved mammals and birds, representing typical examples of native Gloucestershire fauna. Small collection of hand tools that have been used to shape the Gloucestershire countryside (e.g. hedging and ditching tools).
