Ceredigion Museum is housed in a restored Edwardian Theatre. It has been described as ‘one of the most beautiful museum interiors in Britain'.

The museum displays objects of all ages from the county of Ceredigion (Cardiganshire). Most of the displays are of the Victorian period and later
Key artists and exhibits
The museum has a large collection of oil paintings by Alfred Worthington1835-1927. There is also a fine collection of taxidermy by the Hutchings family of Aberystwyth who worked between the 1860s and 1942.
