28 September, 26 October at 2-5pm. School Trips and other visiting can be arranged with NATCECT for any time during the week, but these days must be booked well in advance.
Admission charges
Adult group visits to the museum are £1.50 per person (minimum 15 people) which includes talk and coffee.
School visits cost £1 per child (no charge for adults). There is a charge of £10 for schools wanting to take part in Museum wash days.
On the door charges for Museum open days are £1.50 for adults and £1 for children.

Collections description
The Traditional Heritage Museum houses a valuable collection of objects from 1850-1950. It has many examples of design, from the intricate engraving of cutlery, shoe making to other local crafts. For those interested in science and technology, there are examples of early medicines and tool making machinery. For writers and researches there are important clues to every day living in theVictorian era and the second world war.
