Description
National Glass Centre is a unique venue and a hub for activity inspired by glass. Housing galleries, artists’ studios, glass production facilities, craft and design shop, café/restaurant and function suites, National Glass Centre is located in an innovative glass and steel building on the banks of the River Wear.

Be inspired by an exciting and thought-provoking programme of exhibitions; get creative and learn through a wide range of workshops, courses, talks and events; have fun and explore with a walk over the glass roof and behind-the-scenes tours, or just relax, take in the views and enjoy a meal in our award-winning restaurant. ThrowingStones is open everyday 10.00am - 5.00pm. For reservations call 0191 565 3939.
