Description
FACT is a centre dedicated to inspiring and promoting creativity through film, video and new and emerging media forms. We aim to present the most innovative work by artists from the UK and around the world, challenging audiences to look at technology, film and art in a new way.

A truly contemporary arts centre, FACT combines state-of-the-art cinemas, galleries and flexible exhibition spaces with world-class resources and facilities to support artists in the production and presentation of their work. The building is strikingly dramatic with a friendly and relaxed ambience.

As well as providing a home to FACT, the UK’s leading agency for the commissioning and presentation of film, video and new media art, the Centre houses MITES (the Moving Image Touring & Exhibition Service – a resource used by museums and galleries across the UK), the medialab, a digital mastering service and a transmission suite which will provide artists with the most up to date technology available.
