Description
Launched in November 1998, CUBE is committed to the investigation, discussion and advancement of design quality within the built environment. From the outset, CUBE has focused on the importance of creative activity within urban design disciplines. We feel that this emphasis has positioned us as a centre with a well-defined identity - one that reflects, embraces and projects the Northwest's increasing confidence in how it articulates itself through its built environment. The centre is aligned with the issues raised in the Government's urban white paper and is cited as an integral player in the delivery of high quality urban design. That its objectives align so well with the emergent issues of the day is testament to the strength of its ideas and the direction of the centre, at the heart of which are three core themes: Culture, Community and Construction.
