A tarmac path leads from the car park to the visitor centre and standing stones but it is on a gradient and help may be required. The visitor centre, including shop and tearoom, and path around the stones are easily accessible. There is a relief model of the site outside the visitor centre and there is a video presentation in Gaelic and English.

The Visitor Centre is open as follows:
April to September, Monday to Saturday, 10.00am to 7.00pm.
October to March, Wednesday to Saturday, 10.00am to 4.00pm.
Note that the stones are freely accessible all year and seven days per week. Grid Reference : NB 213 330

Description
A cross-shaped setting of standing stones, unique in Scotland and outstanding in Great Britain. Dates to around 2,900-2,600BC. The Urras nan Tursachan manages the visitor centre.
