Description
Come and visit the new museum when it opens at the Arts and Crafts Centre in Bury, April 2009.
The museum has a wonderful collection illustrating the history of the regiment from its establishment in 1688 to its amalgamation in 1968. The collection has something for everyone with paintings, medals, uniforms and memorabilia of the soldiers' experiences whilst they served with the regiment.
Collections description
A wonderful collection of medals, including VC's, uniforms and other militaria, along with personal effects of former soldiers. Wonderful paintings of important people conected with the regiment such as Napoleon and our mascot Minnie. For more information please see our new web site.
