Description
Our forbears may have invented heavy industry, but in stark contrast to many of today's industrial projects, they never forgot the power of elegance or the importance of beauty. Nowhere is this more artfully expressed than in the graceful lines and soaring arches of the world's first cast-iron bridge. As the enduring symbol of our Industrial Revolution, it will stay in your memory forever. A display showing the history of the Bridge can be found in the adjoining Tollhouse.
