Parking is plentiful and free! Visitors with disabilities park right next to the entrance. Parking charges apply on special events days. All display areas (except small viewing gallery) are at ground level. Free wheelchair hire is available.
Recognised assistance dogs are welcome. There are adapted toilet facilities.
The Concorde Experience is fully accessible. Restricted access within Concorde’s passenger cabin mean wheelchairs and pushchairs cannot board the aircraft. The exhibition does, however, feature a virtual tour.
East Fortune airfield is a large site so hop on new our Airfield Explorer! This free shuttle circuits the museum, with stops at all the hangars.

Description
Our historic First and Second World War airfield at East Fortune, East Lothian, is full of atmosphere and home to 43 aircraft from the daunting early days of flight to the sleek sophistication of Concorde. How difficult were they to fly? What speeds did they reach? What would it have been like to build and fly them? You’ll find the answers to these questions and many more at the National Museum of Flight.
