Description
A fascinating University collection of art, science and nature
Collections description
A superb collection of Scottish art from 18th century to contemporary work. Scientific instruments, natural history specimens, medical equipment, textiles and design pieces.
Key artists and exhibits
Artists represented in the collections include Gainsborough, Landseer, the Pre-Raphaelites, Burra, Raeburn, Wilkie, MacTaggart, Paton, Duncan, the Glasgow Boys, the Colourists, Colquhoun, Eardley, Bellany, Finlay, Maclean etc.

Other key exhibits include the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Collection, the Corstorphine Herbarium, textiles from the Needlework Development Scheme and unique early medical equipment.
