Description
Gwynedd Museum & Art Gallery boasts a collection formed since 1884 by Bangor University. Now run by Gwynedd Council, the Museum and Gallery is located near the cathedral in a Grade II listed building that was the Old Canonry dating to the 1870's. There is strong community involvement at the museum and an active Friends organisation.
