Description
Set in the beautiful Georgian town of Bewdley this unique museum has fascinating indoor and outdoor displays housed amidst an 18th Century Butchers Shambles which illustrate the trades of the town and surrounding Wyre Forst area. Traditional crafts are brought to life through daily demonstrations and resident crafts people can be seen at work.

A lively programme of events, workshops, childrens activities and lovely gardens make this an entertaining place to visit for the whole family.

Collections description
Objects associated with local crafts - pewter and brass, rope making, charcoal burning and woodland crafts. Social history objects,clothing and domestic implements. Bewdley Museum also cares for the collections from the former Kidderminster Museum and Art Gallery and these include a large fine art collection, coins, medals, natural history, ethnography and a herbarium.
