Londoners will be able to get their carbon footprint calculated as part of 2007’s Architecture Week.

Carbon Coach Dave Hampton will be at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) on June 18 and 19 to help calculate and advise on household emissions.

Visitors just need to take a month’s worth of household bills and the Carbon Coach will talk them through their output and suggest the best and most cost effective ways to bring emissions down.

The theme for this year’s Architecture Week is How Green is Our Space?, and visitors to the RIBA event will also be able to speak to an eco-architect through the Architect in the House scheme, where they will give an hour of their time to advise homeowners on eco-friendly changes to their houses in return for a minimum £40 donation to housing charity Shelter.

Experts will also be on hand to discuss green changes in the workplace. Go to the Architecture Week website for more details of this event and the many others taking place across the country.
