iGoogle users will be able to add a new 24 Hour Museum gadget to their homepage to ensure they keep up with the hottest exhibitions over the Christmas period.

The gadget feeds exhibition news and reviews from the award winning 24 Hour Museum website to give web users some great ideas of how to spend their time over Christmas - without breaking the bank.

“It’s great to be beginning a more strategic relationship with Google and this gadget is a great way of reaching more people, and highlighting some of the great things on offer in museums and galleries over the Christmas period,” said Culture24 director, Jane Finnis.

“These kinds of gadgets reach new and non traditional audiences and with our website rebuild due for completion in early 2009 I hope it will also give visitors a taste of the forthcoming and exciting developments at Culture24.”

Talks are already underway to find out how the gadget can be developed in the New Year to ensure that you are getting the best culture updates all year round.

The special google Christmas page is available at www.google.co.uk/christmas and the new iGoogle gadget is brought to you by Culture24, a non-profit online cultural publisher.
