ARCHIVE CONTENT: An exhibition at the Bucks County Museum helps families and schools discover what life was like in Roman times.

Running until 5 November 2006, the exhibition examines the Roman Empire and Romans in Buckinghamshire as well as the life of soldiers and road building.

You can get dressed up in a toga and make your own mosaic, reconstruct a samian bowl, or build a Roman arch - as well as have a go at a timeline challenge

There are real Roman artefacts on display that museum visitors can handle, including old tiles and pottery from thousands of years ago.

As well as the exhibition, there are Roman displays in the permanent gallery at the museum.
